Party, Party!

Well, the party was a huge success, except that Clayton was miserable! Lots of family and friends came to celebrate Clayton's 2nd birthday and he received many wonderful gifts- Thanks everybody! Clayton will be happy one day...he was just a little overwhelmed! By the end of the party though, Clayton finally warmed up to the crowd and helped mommy open some presents.

Will it ever happen?

Besides getting things together for Clayton's party, we're also in the middle of trying to close on our new house. We were supposed to close on Thursday, but the seller didn't have some of their paperwork ready, so then we were looking at closing on Friday. We are still not the official owners yet!!! Now it looks like we're going to close on Monday. Will it ever happen??? Hopefully it will all work out.... I am ready to get to work on the new house!

Let's Get This Party Started!

Well, you all have finally convinced me to start this blogging thing! I am not very articulate, but hopefully you all will enjoy this site. Clayton gives me lots of material, so I'm sure something interesting or funny will come up. This weekend we're having Clayton's 2nd birthday party! His real birthday was on the 22nd...we made him pancakes for breakfast and gave him one of his presents. I can't believe he is already 2, the time goes so quickly and slowly at the same time! Today I ran a few errands to get everything "needed" for the party. I also met Rodney for lunch at Tin Star-YUM!
